Welcome

Welcome to Yakka Demolition, the professional and cost effective demolition company dedicated to getting the job done right, on time… and on budget.
Although a relatively new company (established Oct 2012), collectively we’ve been in the industry for over 30 years with an experienced team ready to tackle demolition projects of any scale.

The key to our strength is due diligence, carefully planned implementation and applied expertise right across the spectrum of the demolition process. We pride ourselves on safety and our record speaks for itself.
Yakka Demolition has entered the market with an impact, with commitment and enthusiasm for the business across all employees, we are currently exceeding all initial business forecasts.

This has allowed us to expand relatively quickly to a point where we have acquired a reasonable level of plant, equipment, and most importantly to retain the services of our experienced staff.
As referenced with the previous experience we have undertaken a range of reasonable sized projects since inception and are now ideally placed within the market to maintain a reasonable presence.

Bruce with his understanding of Head Contractor and Client requirements provides a new approach to the demolition industry; an approach that we believe is a positive difference to that already provided by our competitors.

Our history

Yakka Demolition was formed in September 2012. Although we are a new company, we’re not new to the Demolition business. Yakka Demolition was formed from experienced demolition personnel that were looking for a new challenge with the permanent departure of their previous employer to the Christchurch rebuild. The company is headed by Bruce Levien and Andy O’Donnell (Demolition Manager), with permanent employees and contractors totaling 40, all with excellent experience in a range demolition projects.
